Many modern engineering projects require a simulation environment for algorithm development and engineering trade studies. The Benchmark line provides a simulation environment in which multiple target tracking algorithms can be tested.

For target tracking algorithms, the Benchmark line of simulations provides a common test bed for Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD), Autonomous Air Vehicles (AAV), Integrated Air/Missile Defense (IAMD), MIMO Radar, and Chem/Bio Defense. These Benchmarks already exist, are owned by the government, and are available.

Benchmark metrics include:

• Track accuracy (position, velocity, etc.)
• Track breaks
• Track switches
• Track covariance consistency
• Redundant and spurious tracks
• Track completeness
• Sensor resource usage metrics
• Communication usage metrics

Vectraxx has access to all of the Benchmark simulations and can:

• customize an existing Benchmark
• build a new Benchmark variant
• assist with implementing test articles (algorithms) in a Benchmark
• integrate and test tracking algorithms
